Monique Klemann just released her new single 'In Love’ from her latest album “Lovers In Motion” (released last spring)

Her singing career began way back in the mid 80's. Monique Klemann's band Lois Lane was a sensation in the Netherlands. They released a number of albums and many reached platinum status. Loïs Lane also toured with Prince in the early nineties and Prince even wrote several tracks for their album 'Qualified'.
In 1995 the album Fireflight was released and contained their last big hits. After 1995 Loïs Lane released s few more singles (Simply Beautiful, When I'm with You) and two tribute albums. Thereafter, the band remained active in the live-scene.

It was not until 2007 that Monique Klemann started pursuing a solo career. With her first release ‘On Patrol’ she showed a bright future lied ahead of her. In between numerous guest appearances on Dutch television and live shows, Monique remains active recording and performing her own songs.

The release of the mini-album 'Coool' (2016, Zip Records) showcased Monique in her new incarnation. Her cover of the song “I’m Not In Love” (2019) has almost received 3 million streams on Spotify.
