Yufu is an aspiring Soul / Funk musician who takes inspiration from the classic American 70's sound. Based in Taiwan and Japan, he is one of the few Vintage-style Asian soul artists who record original songs while paying tribute to the greats in the soul genre. In today's digital and artificial world, Yufu strives to create a warm sound reminiscent of the time and feel of the sensual 70's soul music. 

With the first single "Honey If You're Extra" Yufu conveys those intimate feelings of drowning in the intensity of love and swimming in the sea of ecstasy.  It is an invitation for the listener to enter into a world of pure warmth, the beginning of a new season and the joy of a relationship. 

Following the release of two singles, Yufu's debut album "Heal Me Good" is due to be out in early 2025 on Zip Records (Amsterdam). Both on record and through live performances, Yufu's mission is to keep the 1970's soul, disco and funk spirit alive for audiences in 2024 and beyond. An unexpected treat from Taiwan and Japan. 

The album features 10 songs and is due to be released in November 2024.
